Where the method comes from
PlumbHub was founded by a field plumber with ten years on New York job sites and a construction-management background. The method comes from commercial work: read every sheet, count every position, price the alternates, hold the work to the spec, test, document. It is the same method in a Brooklyn bathroom: find the cause, write the scope, write the price, test before the wall closes.
What we are and what we are not
PlumbHub LLC manages plumbing and fire protection projects. Licensed plumbing and sprinkler work in New York City is contracted, performed, filed and signed off by the New York City Licensed Master Plumber or Licensed Master Fire Suppression Piping Contractor engaged for each project, chosen to fit the job. We say which work is ours to take and which needs a different contractor. If a job is outside the five boroughs, we say that too.
How we price
Positions, quantities, unit prices. Labor by the hour per position, material by current supplier pricing, overhead stated once. A change in the field is priced from the same table as the bid.
